Unlike Points Rummy, Deals Rummy is played with a pre-fixed number of chips over a set number of deals (typically 2, 3, or 6 deals). The player with the highest chip count at the end of the deals wins. Apply these 5 tricks to secure consistent deals rummy victories.

1. Keep Track of Chip Distribution

Since the total number of chips in play is fixed, monitor your opponents' chip counts. If you hold a large lead in the final deal, play defensively and drop early to protect your chip lead, preventing opponents from catching up.

2. Form Your Pure Sequence Immediately

A pure sequence is the foundation of any valid card meld. Do not waste turns trying to build complex sets or runs until you have secured a valid pure sequence. Doing so protects you from high point penalties if an opponent declares early.
